Yes! I would agree that it seems odd to make that type of money playing games, but its about your production. A guy who works all day laboring that doesn't make more than $20,000 a year makes that type of $ because that is the type of money his efforts are generating. (with the company he works for making profit as well) Sports generate a LOT of money, and it's because of the athletes that draw the attention of you and I. If this country didn't watch sports so much and wasn't so crazy about sports, then they would generate less $, and the players would make less. Teams get into bidding wars with one another over players, and they can afford to this b/c they know the better the players you have, the more tickets you sell, and they make a huge profit, despite giving the players all that $.

I guess you're talking about pro sports, but I'll add that the Oklahoma and L$U football programs pay their players pretty well too.

Not at all. Also, there whole life is based on entertainment yet they act like their press conferences are like appearing in front of congress. PATHETIC!!!
