This may warrant a "we don't do that Bobby" along with peeing in the aquarium or other things small kids do, but a kindergartner being accused of a sex crime??? I hope this doesn't go further and generally a 6 year old is not considered old enough to have any criminal intent.

It MAY have been a case of pure curiosity...however, the details are murky. Does the boy have a history? Was the girl restrained? Was she upset? What were the circumstances of the situation?
Children who have been abused are more likely to act out in this way. Perhaps the boy's parents DO need to be investigated a little more fully. Perhaps they DO hold some responsibility.
I think the school has some responsibility here. How did something like this even happen? I would never judge either way on something like this unless I knew the full story.

It's gone too far. But because of people like that other guy in Florida who was just recently convicted of the rape and murder of a 9 year old girl, we've become a nation of paranoid zombies, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Let the parents press charges. It'll never see the inside of a court room. Cooler heads will prevail to avoid a drawn out court battle, but the 6 year old has seen his last day in that particular school.

That is definitely going too far. A six year old boy doesn't completely understand right from wrong, so to press charges is ridiculous.

Welcome to america. Today people will sue you for EVERY thing they can.
You accidentally drip a piss on toilet seat, next thing you know is they want you to pay for whole bathroom remodel.
You accidentally bump into someone lightly. They'll claim you injuried their spine so badly that they can't work.
You send someone mail, they get paper cut. They'll claim you didn't use proper paper and sue you.
You give someone a gift. 10 years later they drop it on their toe, they'll sue you for giving them dangerous gift.
The list goes on.
As for the case, it depends... Is the father a pervert? Do the parents do similar thing in open? If not then yes. But again... there's not enough info so it's difficult to answer the question.

Pure curiosity, for sure.
I cannot tell you how many children have engaged in or will engage in "playing doctor". It is an expression on curiosity and often times as a result of the child being exposed to mature content that leads to such expression of curiosity.
The child/children involved should not be punished... that is ridiculous and severe!

I think it is going too far. Discipline the boy, let him know it is wrong to do what he did. I mean please. Do you remember what you did when you were growing up? I barely do... the parents of the girl need to sit back and think about this. They are just mad that their little girl has been "violated". This would be so different had it been a man, then I would be on the side of the girls parents. Serioulsy, let's think about this.

It is absolutely stupid. Parents cannot be responsible for the silly curious actions of their children, as long as they let them know what is reprehensible afterwards, and take steps to correct the situation. Also, it is not good for the little girl, making to much of it - that can traumatize her more than the action itself. She should be taught to respect her body and to say "no", but that this was simply a silly and obnoxious action on the part of the boy.

I think the girl's parents have a very dirty mind and want some easy money, the parents of the boy should talk to him, he might not know that what he did is so terrible wrong.

decrease than the situations I agree that it particularly is purely a case of interest by using age of the little ones in touch. it is important that the mothers and dads of the two between the little ones in touch talk with their little ones.
