yes. But can be easly avoided. After you get down using the computeron you desktop click on My Computer, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, click Internet Options, Delete your cookies, delete your files and clear your history. This way when your mom goes on after you she cannot find the sites you where on or what you where doing unless shes a computer person then your screwed.
Good Luck!

Well, if you are not afraid of her knowing what you are chatting about, then you shouldn't be worried. But if you are chatting about stuff that you wouldn't want her to know about, then just stop all the inappropriate chat. She has a right and a good reason to worry! Even adults who chat can never really be sure of WHO they are chatting with, but with young naive girls, who just like to blab on about everything, they could potentially be dropping information to God only knows who. C'mon, you know that she has a very valid reason to be concerned. To answer your question, yes parents can track the information they want. p.s. she can certainly ask other people who DO now about computers, and there are tracking programs that could tell her every little letter you've typed.

Be glad that your mother cares so much about you & doesn't want any harm to come to you. Don't go to sites that you know will get you into trouble with your mom. She knows best. Some guys in these chat rooms aren't who they say they are, so beware. Never, ever, give out personal info about yourself to anyone when in chat rooms. A lot of sick people are out there preying on young, naive girls. Don't be a victim & listen to your mom.

Oh yes she can if she knows how. Try holding down Ctrl, Alt, Shift, F7 at the same time. There are several hidden programs used for tracking computer activity that use this as the default keys to use the control panel. Try it but don't change anything cause she will know.

Yeah it is very possible, depending on what parental controls she is using. But you mom does have a very good point and don't always believe a guy when they tell you their age, unless you personally know them face to face, like from school or sporting eventing, you can't always believe what a stranger tells you about their age. It is very easy for someone to lie about themselves and even show you a picture that really isn't of them.

She doesn't have to contact your internet provider to find out what sites you've been to. She can do that from the computer if she knows how.

technically yes it's possible...without going to ur provider...
but it actually depends on the techniques u and ur mom might use...
if i were u, i wouldn't try to find out whose techniques work better, because if it's ur mom's then u'd be in trouble...and really, i dont think it' worth it!
ps. deleting the history might work, but is never enough, sorry!

you specified that you have not been chatting with older guys, then why are you afraid? if you aren't doing the things your mom doesn't want you doing then you should NOT be so scared.
