There are a few rpgs that I like on the ps2, it really depends on your really. Final Fantasy is the most heard one and it is a very good game series. It has the best graphics and a good storyline to their games. Dragon Quest 7 is also a good game. The graphics are cartoonish but it alows you to use different types of weapons for a single person (which most rpgs wont let you). Overall it is a good game. My favorite though is the Suikden (sp?) series. 3-5 is on the PS2 and it is more of a strategy-rpg game. You can recruit over 100 charecters and as well as normal combat you have a group battle which is fun. You really cant go wrong on any of these games so I do recomend all three of them as well as the Champons of Norath, Return to Arms game. As for the DS I do belive they have some of the earlier FF games put on thier system but I dont own one so I am not sure of any other rpgs for it.
