I like to use Resolve carpet cleaner on my car seats. I use the one in the spray bottle, and I spray a little bit on a sponge and dab it on. If the spot is stubborn, I will spray it directly on the spot and scratch at it a bit with my fingernail or an old toothbrush. I have never had Resolve discolor any fabric/carpeted surface but it is always a good idea to do a hidden test spot. Good luck!
