One could argue that they say whatever would best fit their agenda at the time. One good example, Hillary Clinton was the biggest Democratic supporter of the war and now she is saying, "This was should never have been authorized."

Hillary is a good example. She was the primary person who approved that we take Saddam Hussein in Iraq. Two years later she's screaming like a little child saying"I never supported the war!!!" (unquote) After that previous tape caught up with her on television and revealed that She had in fact went along with Bush from the beginning. It's like she thought everyone forgot about her past opinion. That's how Liberals are. They think everyone is stupid and that they will forget! Someone said the Democrats don't flip-flop and that the Media does is for them to make people think that they flip flop. Sir, if you are reading this THE LIBERALS CONTROL EVERY MEDIA OUTLET ON T.V. Also for you Libs out there....According to the Department of Labor and IRS data THE WAR HAS ACTUALLY HELPED THIS ECONOMY!! So rest at ease when I tell you to think of the billions we've spent so far in Iraq as an investment that is paying off.

It is the very nature of liberals to jump around. This is simply because they do not live in a real world but one of fantasy. This is why no one can ever understand them.

Same reason Republicans flip-flop.

Clinton supported the war when "the liar" (aka George W. Bush) told everyone there were WMD's. Now that we know he lied, the war SHOULDN'T have been authorized.

What she means to say is: "The war WOULD never have been authorized...had George Bush told the TRUTH."

“I think it’s also important for the president to lay out a timetable as to how long they will be involved and when they will be withdrawn.”
George Bush 6/5/99

“It doesn’t make any sense to have a timetable. You know, if you give a timetable, you’re — you’re conceding too much to the enemy.”
George Bush 6/24/05

How do you like them apples?

Thanks Juan! It's tough being right all the time!

It figures the asker didn't respond to my answer, Repubs and their selective hearing. And the investment you speak of in Iraq looks to be turning into an investment in future terrorist training camp space. But why would repubs care they made money from it, who cares about the future, right.

Democrats dont flip flop its just the media thats got you fooled, you can say your for the war one day during a certian situation and after a couple of years the situation is different, before Hillary said she was for it believeing in Bush but now years have passed and Bush made Iraq into a living hell-hole for the U.S to get out and now after these few years shes against it, they used this against John Kerry its the American Media especially CNN they twist peoples mind they just dont want a female president to run this country and they are pulling all the cheap tricks on her

Yeah, we need more stay the course types. Four full years, hundreds of billions of dollars and chaos in Iraq, yet absolutely no change in strategy. I call that being idiotic and hard-headed with an inability to adapt to change.
