This is a really difficult question to answer since I'm a Texas Longhorn. I think both of these schools are excellent institutions and have great tradition in athletics.
I know if you're a student or alumni of either of these schools, it's like asking which is better, Texas or Texas A&M. Everyone (except for aggies) knows that Texas is superior to A&M.
I must say, that being an outsider and totally unbiased, both the Buckeyes and Wolverines are equal when it comes down to which school is the better of the two.

Ohio State in everything. Football, Mens bb, womens bb, lacrosse, swimming, rowing, cheerleading, baseball and anything else. There is no question, Michigan is way inferior.

umm lets see.... the mighty buckeyes beat them in football, the last hockey game was won by the scarlet and gray , basketball, yep they dominated again, even women's basketball the lady bucks wollumped that team up north. so I would have to say that there is no question that THE Ohio state Buckeyes are better than any mi...mi..mi.. ugh I can't even say that name... better than any team from that wasteland they call ann arbor
