In a sense, you could consider the act of eating boogers healthy.

Boogers trap bacteria and germs. If you eat them, you expose your body to those bacteria / germs thereby strengthening your immune system.

Boogers themselves are neither healthy nor bad for you.

The mucus produced by your nose is used to capture dirt and microscopic particles that you would otherwise breath in where such particles would contaminate your lungs and the rest of your respiratory tract. So, no it isn't "healthy" for you.

However, what you probably don't know is that the nose is connected to your throat and the primary means that the body takes to get rid of mucus is to sweep it up your nose (by means of the cilia, small hairs in your nose,) down your throat, and into your stomach. Most germs can't survive the acidic environment in your stomach, so that is why you don't often get sick from ingesting them.

they're o.k., boogers are made of things that aren't bad for us.
Some salt, mucus, and other stuff. So, it's not something i want to eat for every meal, but it won't kill you, or anything of that sort.
