yes I quite agree! But I do like my workmates we just sometimes get on each others nerves in the work environment. If I really didn't like a colleague as a person then I wouldn't go to lunch or have nights out with them it would just make things worse, keep it professional and that's it.

I like a lot of my workmates and I eat lunch with a lot of the ones I do like. Then there are the others (grr). I am pleasant to everyone because I have to be. I don't hang out with people outside of work almost ever!

sorry sweetie you cant get people to end speaking approximately you. that is going to take place the place ever you bypass. you could purely be the bigger guy or woman and circulate on and act like no longer something. i recognize it hurts deep interior yet thats why you should be careful with the individuals you become associates with. the only way you could end chatting along with her is purely make your communicate little purely like hi...bye..smile...purely be the bigger guy or woman...whilst she ask you very own questions purely get busy no time for that form of communicate.

No. Life is too short to fill it up with people I don't like. I don't go to lunch or have nights out with people that I don't like. The only person I tolerate even though I don't like her is my sister and that's only at family functions.

there is no other way to be! If ou dont like someone at work and they happened to be at your work drinks, you will look foolish if you show your dislike for them especially if its unprovoked! You have to play the game.
And if you boycott work drinks altogether, people assume you dont like anybody!!
