hi guys, im stuck on a step towards my career. Basically, ive done a few extra roles - who hasnt? A short film, and I am currently acting in a feature - roles i managed to get without an agent. I do have a headshot and resume.

I do many activities other than acting to list on my resume, like quad biking and skiing. I have not done any adverts or commercial work because i dont currently have an agent.

I live in the UK and I was wondering when you think I should get an agent. I am finding it harder by the day to get work without one, and i feel like i cant yet because my resume on my headshot looks really empty.

what do you think? Thanks.

The next time you have a job offer, contact an agent and ask them to represent you in negotiating terms.

UK may be different from how Talent Agents in the USA (NYC), meet with prospective actor aclients. Agents go to the theatre to look for prospective clients.

Ask your UK actor friends what they did when they were in your situtation.
