His overacting and trying to act Like Brad Pitt is disturbing, do you agree?

Are u kiddin me??!! Tracer....not YOU!! Ohhh my heart! lol. Okay. There's my dramatism for the day. But no, actually i loved the movie. Very powerful. And i thought he did a superb job. I've spent 3 years in South Africa and have been around many African born caucasians and Leo did a surprisingly convincing job. Of course Djimon Hounsou was EXCELLENT. But u didnt ask about him so im thinking u thought so too.....

Haven't seen the movie. To be fair a Boer accent is a little difficult to pull off.
Still I have to generally agree. Leo is a lousy actor. I refuse to even see Titanic (ever) just on that principle alone.

Personally I find leo disturbing in general. Never been a big fan or quite understood what the big deal is with him. However in direct answer to your question, he probably doesn't really care about 'acting' or 'realistic accents' he is probably being paid a ridiculously over inflated salary and couldn't really give a monkey's about anything else.

Give the kid a break. He's come a long way since his stint on "Growing Pains" (although he might have peaked in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape?"). Not every young actor can become a Dustin Hoffman.

Could the whole film have been any worse?
Two down thumbs? Obviously, at least two people were not offended by the appallingly patronising way the African "characters" are portrayed: ridiculous two-dimensional stereotypes of the worst sort. A truly dreadful film in all aspects.

THANK YOU! Just hearing the commerical for it made me cringe. I definitely will not see that movie strictly because I do not believe I could spend that much time listening to him.
