Androgyny is a lack of gender identification. All of those other things kind of just seem like labels to me. I think society places too much importance on labels these days, we are all just people. But that is just my opinion.

Okay so are u asking what's the difference between all of your above listed gender roles?? Cuz that would take a LOT of time tyoing it all out. So maybe u can google those terms OR look it up at wikipedia.com. THey give great definitons. Now i can tell u that androgyny is when someone has a look that cant be fully describe as male or female. It kinda borders on the brink of both. Shane from the Lword (if u are a watcher of the L word) is considered SLIGHTLY androgenous. There's a lesbian supermodel (her name is slipping my mind) and she has become famous off of her androgenous look. Photographers can put her in a mans suit and tie and full blown covergirl make up at the same time and she pulls it off perfectly.

Androgyny is defined as combining the presence of socially valued, sterotypic, feminine and masculine characteristics into ones self. All the other variations are just refinements that we need so that we can place people into neatly labeled categories.
