I definitely think this is just you being jealous and petty. Forget the inmate -- what is your wife like with the kids? Is she a good mother? Does she have the children's best interest at heart? You can always request that the children be kept away from the inmate, but to take away their mother would be a real tragedy. Taking into consideration all of the children who are *forced* to be without a parent, it hardly sounds responsible to remove a parent who is actively interested and loving, regardless of what YOU think about the other relationships.

Yes the judge should take into consideration where and with whom the children will live. You have every right to bring up this matter in court for the safety of your kids. If he is on death row... how will your kids be around him. Does she plan on taking them to visit him in Prison.. this you can put a stop to. The judge can order that she is not allowed to bring your kids to a prison to visit her husband. Be happy that he won't get out until he's dead.

Wow, is she f ing nuts? A death row imate and she has children? That is insane. Im sure it should have some kind of impact on the situation. The judge may think that there is definitely something mentally wrong with her which Im sure there is. Good luck with this situation. Hopefully your kids get to be with you.

It can go either way...But you have to ask yourself are you really asking this for the safety of your kids or your jealousy? A death row inmate isn't alone at any point other then his cell...guards are always around...

I wouldn't sweat it. If this is the case, she's clearly the crazy one and you're lucky to be away from her. you have nothing to feel badly about other than hooking up with her in the first place.
I'm not certain of the law in your state, but unless there is someone with objections, the marriage should be allowed.

If the new man is living with her, they will consider it and only allow supervise visits to her place, if the kids are even allowed to come over.
But if the man is in prison, unless you prove her insane. (which she sounds) I dont think there is much you can do unfortunately :(

Truly Springer material. Yeah, she'll most likely get to marry him. Just be thankful that you are rid of the skank.

Your best bet is to gather all evidence that relationship she is getting herself into will effect the children. I would try for custody.
