No way! Don't listen to cellopro30078! The dog/cat is always in a better mood and at risk of less health issues after the operation. Plus, these surgeries have almost been perfected over the years it is unlikely that your dog/cat will have any complications. Don't worry you'll never regret it!

P.S.- Your dog/cat is less likely to run away after being altered!

I don't know why they shouldn't regret it, just imagine what's going through your dogs head after it wakes up later on from that operation, all the pain and confusion that's going through them.

Of course YOU will never regret it, but your animal sure will, of course they won't TELL you because they can't talk. People are selfish and arrogant because they automatically assume their animal likes it just because they like it too. If there was cancer in those areas already, sure they would feel better, the pain is gone.

Cellepro, that is pathetic, you troll.

There is only one real disadvantage to neutering, and that is that it slows down metabolism and makes weight gain harder to avoid. But there are measures that can be taken to avoid this, so I'd be surprised if anyone DID regret it - unless they were desperately broody for a litter of puppies/kittens!

No. It is far better to have them fixed. It sure contributes to less unwanted pups and kittens.Makes it easier to house brake..No spraying or peeing. And gives a better attitude to them. Also less human stress during heat season...Do your animal right............SPAY OR NEUTER...........
