I have two daughters - 7 and 13 - and we all love Gwen Stefani. I would like to take them to her concert this summer but not sure if the content is ok. I am ok w/ language but wasn't sure how the rest was. I'm having 80s flashbacks of Madonna concerts!! :-)

Lizs Boo S...what I am asking is if there is questionable content during a Gwen Stefani concert or if it's too mature for younger girls. I thought I was pretty clear!

I went to her concert last November for her 1st album(The Harajuku Lovers Tour) and it was great. Nothing at all like Madonna live trust me! She will entertain all 3 of you. Enjoy!!!! And of course I am going to The Sweet Escape tour this June and cannot wait :o)

I went to her "Harajuku Lovers" concert - the tour to support her first solo album. The only way it resembles Madonna is that there are a lot of outfit changes and great, energetic dancing. There isn't any sexual content and very few swear words. It's very tame and G rated.

She'll be performing "The Sweet Escape" with Akon at the Kid's Choice Awards this Saturday (March 31). You can watch it on Nickelodeon and get an idea of what her on-stage performance is like. Her concert is like that performance times ten (more songs and costumes).

I've never been to her concert but I can NOT imagine it being like an 80's Maddona concert. I am a parent and apart from not knowing your kids, I would take them.
