UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Object.
Anything cruising through the sky that can't be identified is,by definition,a UFO.
Anything that makes a blip on a radar screen,and isn't recognizable,is classified as "unidentifiable" and therefore a UFO,even if only for the amount of time that it takes them to figure out what it is.Sometimes it's a a large flock of birds at high altitude,or maybe a weather balloon that's drifted off course.
Anything in the sky that gets the attention of the local FAA,and isn't suppossed to be there at that time is a UFO.
UFO doesn't neccessarily mean little green men....'cuz those just ain't real.

UFO's in the sense of being craft from outside the earth have never been proven to exist.

Maybe.I saw a show last Saturday called chupacbras. scientists believe that in the 1960s, there were some flying saucers who fled in Puerto Rico. They believe that ther was an alien who took over the animals.. chupacabras are aliens, as they say, that kills animals like dogs and cats, cows and horses.......... But no blood came out from the poor animals.........

Because they do. If we trust the people who protect this country then maybe it's time we listen to what they have to say about it. These are Military Officers from the United States Military. In the video look at the positions these people held. These are not Privates........these are Generals, Navy Pilots, SAC Launch Officers, Officers of Air Tactical Command, and so on. Just listen to what they have to say. They protect this country and we owe it to them to listen.

They exist in the public perception because a lot of people are making a lot of money writing about them.
It is very unlikely that our First Contact will be with physical beings getting off a ship. SETI has a better chance at that.
It is even more unlikely that First Contact has already happened.
