I'm reading 'Taltos' by Anne Rice. It's quite slow-going at the moment but I'm sure it will get much more interesting very quickly. Before this I read another of her books called 'Lasher' which was fantastic.
I love her books because all the characters usually feature in each book in such a way that there's no need to read them in the order they were written. Anne Rice really is a brilliant author.

A book my mother bought for me 20 years ago and I finally got round to reading. It's called The Cold Moons by Aeron Clement. It's a Watership Down-type book but with badgers. It is surprisingly good.

I'm reading 'The Righteous Men' by Sam Bourne. I've just started it, it's quite good so far. It's a bit like the Dan Brown books.

I'm reading, 'Coleridge- Early Visions', a biography of The poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge by Richard Holmes. Wonderful reading; we learn about the poet's flaws and weaknesses as well as celebrating his true genius. Coleridge's circle of friends in the early 19th century reads like a 'who's-who' of the Artistic and Scientific community of the time.
I recommend it to any poetry lover.

I'm re-reading for the umpteenth time one of my favourites Here Be Dragons by Sharon Penman. It's about Joanna, King John's daughter who was married to Llewellyn ap Iorwerth, Prince of north Wales in the 12th centuary and about how her life fell apart when her father invaded her husband's lands.
