I saw the movie Eragon and I love it. Next day I tell my friends and they have read the book and hated it. I am half way through the book and I love the movie and the book. True they left a lot out but they had a very tight budget. Am I the only one outside of my family who loves Eragon?????

They did have a tight budget because they didn't get a whole lot of support to make the movie.

They did not have a tight budget for the movie at all. The only thing similar about the movie and book was the character's names, and the fact that there was a dragon. While the overall plot of the movie was similar to the book, the everything that happened in between was pretty much different. The movie was not meant to cater to fans of the book. Once you get to the end of the book, you'll realize this, and not like the movie as much.

you are not the only one who lived the movie Eragon.
My husband and I went to see it at the Drive Inn theatre in Abilene, Texas and then when it came out on DVD My oldest daughter rented it.
We all loved it.
