What you're refering to is the is an old etiquette that said you can only wear white starting Mememorial day and ending on Labor day. However, this rule applies to white SHOES. And really no one follows this anymore, not even designers who are including crisp whites in their fall collections. BE BOLD.

White clothes are fine all year round now. The only thing you need to keep in mind is that the fabric be appropriate for the season... a white wool coat is beautiful in the middle of january... now for spring you want to pull out your linnen and leather.

You're basically allowed to wear white whenever you want, just DO NOT wear too much of it. For instance, don't wear white jeans (actually, don't ever wear white denim) with a white shirt, and a white hat and shoes + white colored accessories. Instead, just incorporate a few white items into your outfit and it should be fine. You could wear a white headband, or a shirt, or a necklace with your outfit and I'm sure it'll look fine.

These days you can wear white year round, though "winter" white is a better choice for winter months. You just want to make sure the fabric is suitable for the season. Lightweight fabrics, such as cotton or cotton blends are more for spring and summer, while wool, crepe and gabardine might be best for cooler months.

Depeneds on if you follow that sort of thing. Typically you stop wearing white after laborday until the end of that month. However if you really are not THAT fasion crazy wear white whenever you want. there are no rules or laws.

You should just wear what you want and what makes you feel comfortable. Don't pay attention to anyone who says you shouldnt wear a certain article of clothing just because of its color and the time of year it is. Go ahead and wear all the white you want whenever you want. :)

Nope not any more but I never took fashion rules seriously but if you want to wear white now then wear white.who cares if there is a fashion rule to wearing white as long as you feel good with what you wear then you look good

well the old rule was no white after labor day, but that is NOT considered a rule anymore. it was for our grandparents..start wearing your white now!
