I have 3 dead mice that are supposed to have been kept frozen but they weren't, can I feed them to my snake?

My husband has a snake and feeds frozen mice. I hate snakes but I know from what he's told me that bacteria grows and bacteria can kill the snake. If they were ment to be frozen and you didnt defrost just prior to feeding toss them out

If they were killed and not frozen within the hour, then forget feeding them to your snake. Bacteria begins growing in minutes of being killed. If they were already frozen and have thawed out more then 50% don't take any chances, throw them out. The snake can die from contaminated mice or rats that aren't stored properly.
We feed frozen mice to my daughter's snake ourselves.

Depends on how they were kept. Frozen/thawed is best for any reptile. (F/T is best for anything eating any rodent!)
Since it's not that big off a money loss compared to how much vet bills will cost if your snake gets sick, I would throw them out and get new ones.
For those who say feed live, read the source. It is something that experienced, GOOD herp keepers don't do.

it depends how long they have been dead. if just a day or so i would but anymore than that....
i would suggest live mice anyhow because catching a mouse is more stimulating to a snake.

It might not eat them. If they weren't frozen, what were they? Left out to rot, or kept in a fridge. If they aren't rotten, I would give it a try.

sure you can feed your snake, you can feed them live mice as well, (though this isn't recommended for the squeamish people)

How long were they defrosted? Were they fridgerated? I would not chance it. I mean really would you eat something that said KEEP FROZEN and wasn't?
