What are the benefits of having intercourse every week vs. once a month?

other than the obvious answers, like that of others. Sex once a week can do wonders for a person . The pro's to this would be less stress, less likely to gain weight quickly, and most of all sex in itself is the best exercise for the heart. The con's to this is that if you have sex once a week it becomes more repetitive and sometimes people lose the feelings that should go along with it. Keeping this in mind, if you are going to have sex once a week make sure that it is not "planned" and more spontaneous. This keeps the romance alive without feeling the obligation to have sex. Now if you are having sex only once a month then the opposite of the physical is true. You tend to be more stressful and because of this you gain weight. I recommend a happy medium when having sex, but when it is not acceptable by both partners then I would lean toward masturbation. This can have the same affect on the body as if you were having it once a week. The body does not know the difference. You won't use as many calories though doing it this way.

having sex every week will keep a relationship stronger and more intimate, overall stregthening your bond with your partner, whereas once a month creates problems like "what if they dont find me attractive anymore" or "why am i still in this relationship if they arent that attracted to me, cant i just go find someone else who appreciates me?" these questions are very bad! if you are living together and arent haveing sex anymore than once a month, then there are definatly issues there that need to be worked out.
