She made a comment because most networks were reporting on the problem with the dog and cat foods, but she felt they were ignoring the situation in Iraq. I did not agree and felt she was insensitive. No one is downplaying the death of our US soldiers and what their families are going through. You cannot compare a pet's life to a human life, but anyone with a pet understands the devastation when a pet passes. That is why most networks reported it.

I think she does this crap just to be controversial.
Maybe that's why she's still on the View.
She needs some serious help. She may as well ask why the networks are reporting on ANYTHING other than the war.

She could prolly end the iraq war if she threatened to throw herself out of a plane thereby destroying iraq and parts of saudi arabia, yemen, parts of turkey. Sorry, just came up with a joke that suxed, you go don!

I guess it should be asked, why are people watching her show when they should be watching the news organizations for updates on Iraq? Why is she not devoting her entire show to reporting on Iraq? It seems that she is more than willing to ignore Iraq if it suits her.
