I took hot baths almost everyday when pregnant. They are so relaxing! The hard part for me was getting out of the tub the bigger my belly got! LOL
You just don't want to make the water extremely hot. You don't have to take a tepid bath but you don't want to raise your body temp so keep the water at a reasonable level of warmness(use your own judgment)

A bath in a normal bath tub is fine. The water is not deep enough to cover your belly and it would be very hard to get it hot enough to raise your core body temperature. Jacuzzis and saunas are out because they heat your whole body, or at least most of it. It is easy to raise your temperature that way and it can cause harm to your baby. Basically, if you feel like you are starting to overheat or sweat, it is too hot for the baby. I take warm/hot baths all the time, it helps me to relax and also takes some of the weight off of my hips and back. Just don't let yourself get too hot and you'll be fine.

You can take all the warm/hot baths you want--- just not TOO hot (like a jacuzzi) Throw in some good, natural bubbles or scented oils and enjoy!
Remember that whatever you put on your skin absorbs into your system (to test this, try putting some fresh cut onion or garlic in your shoe--- you will soon be tasting it-- true!)
So you buy some natural scents (aromatherapy!--- lavender is great, or whatever appeals to you) at the natural foods store (no chemicals) and add some scent to a small bottle of olive or almond oil or some other good unprocessed vegetable oil. Put a bit in your daily bath and your skin will stay smooth and soft and it might(!) even help prevent stretch marks etc. At any rate, it will feel very good--- light a candle, get a bath pillow--- and relax!!!
In the summer, cool baths are equally wonderful... Later on, keep up the bath tradition with your little one. It relieves stress in babies, too--

i take hot baths every day and im 32 weeks pregnant. The temperature of a bath, as opposed to a hot tub, is considerably cooler, and baths tend to cool down very quickly. U are also not totally submerged as u would be in a hot tub. i cannot have cool baths, they are pointless . i love to relax in a hot bath it really helps aches and pains. I try to keep to the rule that, if its turning my skin bright pink, then its probably too hot. Other than that, its fine.

There is nothing wrong with a warm bath. Its nothing compared to the temperature of a hot tub.
