I assume that it will be a mixed group??

If you aren't eating before the prom, reserve a table for 10 in a mutually accepted nice resturant (not McDonald's) where a server can bring you your dinners while you are seated together. Please, remember your manners and act like grown-ups. Sometimes the staff will take your picture together for you all to have as a keepsake. If the service and food is great you can leave a tip up to 15% of the final check, though some places charge 15% outright for groups over 8.

Try getting a group rate to a movie you would mutually like to see and enjoy the show. That way your dresses and tuxes shouldn't get too messed up, plus in the dark, the people around you won't know you're dressed up until after the movie is over.

A group of 10 together is not a date, so you shouldn't be acting like it is a date (making out, etc.) unless you are a weird group.

Stay away from drinking alcohol. You are too young to die or be maimed in a drunk driving accident.

Before prom go to dinner, enjoy your prom you only get one. After the prom is over have everyone go to a single house and eat some more. My mom did a fabulous brunch for me and my friends and we had a blast, you have to have a really understanding parent though 10 teenagers in one house is a lot for anybody.

It also depends on what time you plan on leaving the prom, we stayed until the very last song dancing and carrying on. so by the time we left we were starving. If you leave early go find some place that has a midnight showing of Rocky Horror, that would be a hoot all of you showing up in full prom gear plus it is very interactive if you've never seen it so it could be a real good time.

Enjoy your Prom!
