I need super stiff for my driver and 3-wood, but I use standard flex on my irons.

In my vast experience in hitting the balls, I have found that the stiffer the shaft on the wood...the greater the penetration into the course....of course without feeling the stiffness, I just couldn't say if it is right for me...if you care to bring the woody over for me to check it, I'd be happy to oblige

I don't know much about this particular subject, bet in my opinion the stiffer the better
