He used to be number 22, and now he is 24. At first, I thought someone else took his number. But no one else has the #22. Why did he change it? I'm just curious. Thx.

He did it for Roger Clemens I don't know why though Robbie should have kept 22 I mean what's the chance Clemens comes back.

because in case roger Clem's comes back and roger was 22 when he played for the Yankees and ca no gave his number to Clemens voluntarily

The number was voluntarily given up for Roger Clemens. Guess the Yankees are trying to butter him up with it. Too bad they won't retire his number. Red Sox gave him that offer.
