The most interesting time for me is the 14th-15th centuries. I don't think I would have liked to live in that time but it is such a colourful period, just taught boringly at schools.

People like John of Gaunt, Edward lV, Richard llll, the Duke of Buckingham, the Duke of Clarence, Marguerite of Anjou. I could go on. And what about our obsession with conspiracy theories - what fun we would have had over the murder of the Princes in the Tower.
