I'm glad there's at least one other sane person left here.
I think the first thing we should do is issue a copy of Machiavelli's "The Prince" to all officers serving in Iraq.

Ummm... maybe the bomb threat is a result of the U.N.'s high profile... Sort of the same reason a Federal building makes a nice target. How is this evidence of anything other than your desire to twist everything into a statement on the Iraq war?

Big deal, there was a bomb threat at a high school today too. You think that is because the school is weak in their stance against terrorism?

Is this a serious question? Must be the bomb threat at the local high school last week was because of their weak stance on terrorism.
Anybody can call in a bomb threat to anybody.

They have had bomb threats before. Any world organization can be the target of some deranged character. As long as no one was hurt and the buildings are safe why worry?

You don't even know who made the bomb threat. We had a bomb threat at my high scool when I was growing up....it must have been Al Queda.

Eh it's just terrorism. These terrorists are as pathetic as our News corps... If they know it will cause controversy and catch the public eye they don't care the cost.
I wouldnt doubt if Bin Laden had Turner Broadcasting stocks.

Face it, the terrorists who are most likely to blow up the UN building would be right-wing American whackos who obey the will of Limbaugh, Hannity, and Coulter.
