a thesis statement is just that, a statement. think about what you want to say about the treaty of paris. if you were given a question as part of the research paper you can turn that around and make a statement. An example of a thesis statement for this would something like this:

The treaty of paris, 1783, ended _______ war and accomplished 3 major things.

or 5 or however many things you can find out in your research.
