My husband wanted me to meet one of the women he had been drinking with during his guytime. I didn't know he'd been drinking with women at his friends home. I told him I did plan on seeing other women on our date. Wanting me to meet her? Was that just an excuse to see her again? I told him he couldn't see any other women, because being married, I don't see or drink with men.

Opps. I meant didn't plan on seeing other women on our date. Early in our relationship he told me men and women could never be friends because of the way men think.

Some guys don't care what women say to them if it bothers you or not. Maybe this a women he been drinking with for a long time. If that the case he probably meant know harm by it. You as a women can tell something fishing going on or if something did go on in the past. Your husband might really thing of her as a friend or drinking buddy.

He's probably hoping that if you meet her and get to know her, you won't feel threatened by his friendship with her, and they can still be friends. I used to have guy friends before my youngest's father, and I always did the same thing. If my boyfriend was at least familiar enough with my guy friend to see for themselves that nothing was going on between us, then they wouldn't be jealous or want me to end the friendship. I don't have guy friends anymore. My one boyfriend was jealous no matter what I did, even if I wasn't hanging out with my guy friends, and I just never made new ones or got back together with the old ones after the relationship ended.

Sometimes men think that by our meeting their female friends, it might somehow make us feel better about the friendship. Thank GOD for creating women. Thank you and good luck.

So he didnt' feel guilty anymore? I don't know.
Seriously, if it bothers you---then there is a problem. If it didn't then there wouldn't be.
I would say you are asking the wrong people. Ask HIM
