Posit this:
A positive outcome to war lies in the support and determination of the nations entire populace.
When a Democrat or Liberal leads this nation to war the politcally-biased democrat and liberal has to support the war because it is their leader that took them there. On the other hand the Conservative in this country supports his country no matter what so be it a Democrat or Republican in office they have the conservative support for the war. On the contrary, when it is a Right-Wing President the liberal hackmeisters will do anything in their power to discredit him, including opposing our country and not supporting a war effort.
So when you have a Democrat running a war you have all of the country behind him, when it is a Republican you have half the country behind him and half fighting him. Then you see support for the war wain as the moderate and lighter hearted are disillusioned by the constant degradation of the left.
Just a very well reasoned theory.

Well, I suppose that as long as there are democrats who support and vote for the war in the beggining and then change their mind, and vote to defund the war when the going gets tough. Then yes we will always lose wars. Especially wars that were a stratigic mistake from the beginning. If only your beloved Democrats would have had the balls in the beggining of this process. I would olso remind everyone that the majority of American citizen supported this war in the begining. Are we really that nearsighted and impatient of a people? What is it going to take for us Americans to realize that we have to finish what we start?

And you base this on how many wars our country has been in compared to what political party the president was in at the time of the war, ABSURD - to be completely accurate you would have to have the some amount of wars for each party. What two wars (current) are you referring to? If you remember correctly it was under Clinton - 1st Gulf War, that our troops were pulled out before they finished - hence current war. That my friend is a failure.

Whoa big fella, your bias is making you deny and miss the big point, each war we lost we had a left controlled congress that pulled funding and forced a retreat..
Reagan won the cold war by creating a military that after being decimated in the 70's by liberal defense cuts he re-invested in our defense industry which that the Soviets bankrolled themselves trying to keep up and was the cause of their collapse..... ( I was a liberal then and watched it for real.....not on you-tube..)

Why would you spend your time baiting conservatives, rather than finding solutions that work for everyone? Just because they place their priorities on different aspects of the same problems you face, doesn't make them the enemy. Political parties are not sports teams- the only way one can win is if both win. Mindlessly arguing with emotional rhetoric isn't going to change any minds, and you know it. Why waste time dividing the country further? Do you ever want to get anything done, or do you simply enjoy trolling for unproductive arguments?

First off, if you think the first Gulf War was not won, then you are truly an idiot.
Secondly, if you think that FDR had more to do with winning WWII than Eisenhower, you are even more an idiot than you proved by the first rule.

Oh wait, you forgot! The cavemen were liberals too. Todays labels don't apply to centuries ago. Hell, old school dems don't even apply to todays dems. I ought to know, because my Dad was and he fought during the war. Actually, they really didn't go around calling themselves conservative or liberal ,most folks.

Media in the war and liberals
Wars need to be fought to win and citizens should never see war.... war is bad and when you see it you will be happy to give up without thought to the end result.
