You can't go from a BS degree directly into an MBA program. You can go into a Master of Science (MSEE) but I understand why you don't want to do this. There are some classes that you will need to take (these fall under a BA rather than the BS degree) before you can apply. Usually an MBA program requires 3 professional recommendations. I went to Regis University to get mine; you can do it on line but any MBA program that's any good will run about $1500 a credit hour and you'll need another 30 to 36 of them.

Good Luck

MBA=Master of Business Administration, this is a graduate degree from a Bachelor of Business Administration. I can believe that Taranto is a professor cause he's totally out of touch. I went from a BSEE to an MBA and had to take 7 additional classes, not harder mind you, just a different track. Example, you don't need 2 semesters of accounting for a BS degree but you do for an MBA, you don't need 2 semesters of economics (only 1) for a BS degree but you do for an MBA. Check it out for yourself.

I can't recommend a good correspondence school for an MBA -- because none exist.

My feeling is that unless you go to a ranked MBA program, the degree will do little for you. It is hard to get a new job with a better salary with an MBA from a school that is not ranked. For an Online MBA, employers will not even take you seriously.

The guy who said that you can't get an MBA with just a BS doesn't know what he is talking about. It is done all the time. Most top schools want you to have some work experience, but you don't need a MS or MA.
