I used a birthing ball. Just sit on it and roll your hips around. it helps stimulate the cervix.(if the baby is dropped and ready) You could also try Parsley tea. You can make it with just regular old dried parsley... It is very mild....Oh, and I don't blame you, I would try everything in my power to have that baby before being induced by the Dr.! I don't know why people think that it is so much safer to get drugs pumped into your body! Good Luck!

RE:
How can I make myself go in labor or break my water?
I'm a week over due and I'm sick of waiting for the doc to give the ok to come in and get induced. I'm at full term! I heard theres a tea out there that helps? Anyone know anything I can do besides walk...hah I've gone to the mall everyday since my due date and walked forever....

Ya I was going to say walk! BUT it looks like you do that! Have you tried stairs. When I was getting induced a lady was doing stairs and went into labor. I guess it is different then walking. So maybe try that.. I am sorry my doc would not let me be over due well actually I told him I will not be over due. I had my baby a day before my due date! I am sorry!! Good luck push your doctor SERIOUSLY!

Your doctor should be able to strip your membranes. . Home remedies are not usefull at all.
To all of those out there. . . you should really go over this when you find out that you are pregnant, Make sure you know where you doctor stands as far as induction, and helping you in your delivery. If you are really fed up keep in mind that you can change doctors.
Believe it or not, you and your baby will be safe and happy if different doctors deliver.
Another option is sex, there is a chemical in the sperm (actually the same that they apply in the hospital) that is what you are going to want get on your cervix. So if you are thinking of having sex and using a condom. . .that is not going to work. And if this does not induce labor you at least you will have fun trying. . . you will want to keep this in mind when you are too tired to do it later.

Have sex. If that doesn't work, at least you will have a nice time. The contractions from the orgasm might help start things up. Your doc shouldn't let you go more than a week, though. When is your next appt? He will probably send you to the hospital from there.

i know how you feel i was a week over due to and the waiting is so aggrivating...but you can try nipple stimulation, having sex, and taking a warm bath....i tired everything but the only thing that helped me go into labor was walking a whole lot.

Well, let nature take its course!!! I just had my second child 2 months ago and he arrived right on his due date. I tried everything to induce contractions, etc. Rasberry tea softens the cervix, sex doesnt really work...tried it! Walking lots does work, Cod Liver oil capsules, or just wait the baby will come when it is ready!! Be patient, I know you are getting anxious, but let your baby and your body get ready on its own.

There are lots of suggestions, but no actual surefire ways. Some of these suggestions will actually just make you sick. Stick with walking and sex. Those are your safest options. Best of luck.
