i'm a certified aromatherapist in washington state. there is an oil that you can make that works great. i recomend that you get a bottle of jojoba oil and sweet almond oil. mix the two in a 1oz bottle. add 10 drops of lavender essential oil and 5 drops of neroli essential oil. using 15 drops of essential oil will make this a 2.5% dilution and that is all i would recomend you use.*

jojoba and sweet almond oil are called carrier oils. you dont want to use straight jojoba but you can use straight sweet almond oil. mixing the two carriers is the way to go though. jojoba mimics the oils naturally produced by the body and absorbs really well.

this should help your stretch marks quite significantly. and you'll smell real good too.

*don't use essential oils if you are pregnant.

there are a lot of creams that promise to help you get rid of stretch marks, and believe me nothing works. it will only smooth the scars but it won't fade actually. a new stretch marks are redish and as time goes by it will blend on your skin but it's a little bit lighter and you can hardly see the scars, only if you look at them closer then you would notice it. if you really want to remove the scars then you should consult a dermatologist and get more info about microdermabrasion or laser treatment, but i don't know how much will it cost you and the results. and they said that it's better to have the procedure when your marks are still in color red.
don't waste your money on those expensive creams without any good result.
hope that helps

Palmer's Cocoa Butter is the best thing for scars and stretch marks... if you're particularly worried about them, get some vitamin E gel caps, open one with a pin and squish the goo over your stretch marks or scars. Repeat that at least once daily if you choose that route and it should help you a bit.

They also fade over time, taking on a silvery color rather than the original dark pink.

If you have just recently had a baby don't sweat it too much...the stretch marks on my boobs went away and the ones on my side have started to disappear as I have started working out...if it is a huge concern Strivectin, the wrinkle cream, was originally marketed to get rid of stretch marks...
