It might have even aired in the early 80's. It consisted of a panel of three celebrities (mostly has-been TV personalities) who were given an object, usually some strange antique, and were asked to name the object or it's purpose. The gist of the game was for two competing, non-celebrity contestants to vote on which actor from the panel was telling the truth. The set was very gaudy. I seem to remember fake stain glass and plastic-looking wood set.

it was 4 celebrities and 3 contestants it was called The Liar's Club I wish it was still on

The one I thought of was "To Tell The Truth" but I don't think it had any objects in it. Sorry, that's all I got:(
