When I get her towed, she's not running and out of gas, to the shop what are the list of things I should have the mechanic look at first? Before she sat, she had new brakes, and a tune up. I know for sure I'll need 4 new tires, battery, and the system flushed. What else should I tell them to check? I don't want to get ripped off

No offense but if your mechanic is a good one he/she will know what to look for to get her going. You shouldnt have to explain anything to him/her.Just tell them its been sitting for 2 years and you want to get her running again and then give them an idea of the amount of money you dont want to go over so you do not accidentally get too far in over your head with a high priced bill.Good luck.

the main thing is to clean out all the old gas, it's not any good anymore and won't fire. drop the tank and flush it out.

On a 12 year old car the brakes should be flushed too, it's probably never been done and are full of water, might even get new brakes hoses, they get weak with age. along with water hoses and fan belts

fresh oil and antifreeze and your ready to go

Check all fluids. Do check the brakes, Change the oil too. Have them look for leaks, it's possible that the seals have dried out without use.

You'll want to have your fluids checked to make sure they are still good but more then likely your going to want your transmission flushed your radiator flushed and your oild flushed and all replaced with brand new transmission oil, motor oil, and coolant....

You should have started it periodically, so the seals in the engine didnt dry out. You might have some leaks now.
