Chances are that you will not tear again. Between already being more prepared (looser). And scar tissue most likely will not tear because it is so tough.
Your number two should be easier and faster.
Also, it is a good idea to practice you Keigels. Try to do them everyday. Like while you are brushing your teeth, when you do laundry or dishes. Having those muscles in shape will help you during the delivery and afterward.

It depends on so much. . . many friends of mine had a significantly easier time with the second birth. . . your body somehow is accustomed to the process now. I tore with both children, but much less with the second -- although I did need stitches both times. Healed well both times, too. Good luck and don't stress too much about it - in the grand scheme of things it will hopefully be a relatively minor issue.

all depends on how big the baby is and how fast the labor and delivery is. for my first child i had a few (6 lbs 10oz) , 2nd i had a ton (8lbs 4 oz) third i had Zero (5 lbs 1 1/2oz). for my 1st i was induced and in labor for 4 1/2 hours, my second i went in natural and was in labor for less then an hour, my third i was induced and in labor for 6 hours. so i think it will all depend with the one i am carrying. the baby i am carrying is already weighing a little more then the others so i am curious to see what happens.

with my first they cut me and I did not need it, horrible time with stitches with my second I would have like to get cut but I tore and only need two stitches not near as much pain the 2nd was a full pound bigger and I had 7 less stitches go figure, I would suggest going with a midwife, they are less likely to try to cut you.

I would suggest perineum massage. That should help prevent tears. and also make sure that your Dr or midwife will give you good perineum support during labor. I tore with my first too, but I am hoping this helps me :) Good Luck!

I have had three children and with all of them I had to have stitches. I think it depends on the size of your??? and the size of the baby.

You may likely tear again. The skin tears because the skin in that area is not very elastic. Some women's skin is more elastic than others.

Chances are your Dr. will probably give you an episiotomy while your delivering. This is what happened when I had my second baby, its totally normal but yes painful.
Sorry!
