That's life.
If my husband dies before me, I'll feel like my world has ended.....just the way it goes.

Without bad, there can be no good. If good things never came to an end, they wouldn't be "good" any more. They would be "normal," and we'd all be asking: "why is life so boring and plain?"
They come to an end so we can experience bad things, then the good things become good again.

Everything eventually ends. We look forward to bad things ending, while we want good things to last forever.
