What do you guys think of this as the basis for a gubernatorial run?

I've decided that if I were ever elected governor, there are three items about which I would work tirelessly until their implementation.

1) All roadwork on a freeway must be well marked at least 2 miles in advance. This is to give people enough time to get over so they don't start a traffic jam by waiting until the last second like they do now. Motorists will have the next 1.5 miles to get over. If they choose to wait, they are taking their lives in their hands, as we are mining the last half mile. Further, the wreckage will not be removed after a mine incident. It will be left there "pour encourager les autres".

2) Car alarms will be banned. They're too ubiquitous now. Nobody hears a car alarm and thinks "Somebody is breaking into that car!". We hear it and think, "&*^%$ jack*sses who don't know how to work their &*^% alarms!!".

3) Summary arrest, trial, and execution by the police officer alongside the road for people with their bass cranked up to 200 decibels.

LOL, well #'s 1 and 3 snagged my attention, if you run here in NC I will definitely vote for you, especially since I didn't notice any pork.

1. Is marked. People will always travel in the lane going fastest thinking they can get over, it is human nature.

2. Car alarms are now being hooked up to On-star so when they go off, the computer will see if the car is being compromised.

3. Why don't you just try for making a law banning the music instead of killing the offenders.
