In middle school we had dances but everyone danced in groups.
The first time I danced one-on-one was in an all-ages club with a boy named Tim. I was seventeen and he was fifteen. And the song was "Tainted Love," a cover by Soft Cell.
Still one of my favorite songs.

to be honest?
i have to say it was that song strict machine by goldfrapp.
my ex took me to the mod club in toronto, and i was to shy to dance, i repeatively said NO but as a typical guy he wouldent take no for a answer lol.
he taught me how to dance all raver like.
so yeah, i was a bit emarased at first, coz he kept screaming my name so i gave in and said ok.
i still hate for that, hes so emarasing and just a total retard, lol

wow...I can't remember that far back. I think it was Ferry Cross the Mersey. In 1969 maybe 68
