Is He merley a light that you can snoff out and on all the time? Or is He the light? Is He a everlasting light or is He a light that just stays bright for a little bit then goes out. Who is the the light of the World? {Who is He} I say it is Jesus Christ {Amen} Helijuah! Glorify the Lord. His light is Everlasting. If you give Him a chance you won't go wrong.

1)The Light of the World (1853–4) is an allegorical painting by William Holman Hunt representing the figure of Jesus preparing to knock on an overgrown and long-unopened door, symbolic of the human conscience. The scriptural basis for this concept can be found in Revelation 3:20. The painting was Hunt's most famous and successful work and was toured around the world. The original is now in a side room off the large chapel at Keble College, Oxford. Hunt painted a large copy towards the end of his life, which is now in St Paul's Cathedral, London.
This painting inspired Salvation Army composer, the Late Commissioner Sir Dean Goffin to compose one of his most famous pieces also entitled "The Light of the World".
2)The Light of the World Church is a Christian church otherwise known as The Church of the living God; the Column and the Pillar of Truth, The Light of the World. It is considers itself the restoration of the primitive Christian Church. It proclaims that Jesus Christ is the founder and the foundation, while proclaiming that Salvation is possible to the world. As a church it preserves faithfulness to God, to the State, the word of God, the Doctrine and sacred sacraments. It believes in the promises that Jesus Christ left as the Savior. The church says that it allows members that follow the doctrine, into the church unbiased to race, gender, nationality, age, income, education.

Jesus said : " I am the way the word and the light" , if you believe in me and follow my commandments, you may have everlasting life."
It is through believing and faith that we have a better life here on earth. Follow the teaching of Jesus and you will be happier, healthier, and have a better chance to help others do the same. It's a win, win situation.
