I think so, we have to say sorry for things hundreds of years ago that isn't anything to do with us now or the people we're apologising to, so why shouldnt they!

Yes,via The Pope. Perhaps he will give back all the many treasures his people stole while torturing people who were not Catholics in the past. I beleive they are still kept in the Vatican.

your point is a good one if you check the bible or history books you will find that a awful lot of people should apologise for deeds done in the past its a nonsense how can we be accountable for the crimes of our fore fathers its now condemned to the history books this is an attempt by africans to seek financial compensation its not on lets put the past to bed and move on
