I've included a site that advises you on how to dress for your body. If you dress accordingly to your body type, that helps you look thinner instead of wearing tighter, perhaps inappropriate clothes.
You can also do other searches on google. Just type in "Dressing for your body type" or just search for your own particular body shape and there should be plenty of sites to help you on that.

Some basics:
1. Black color or any dark color makes you look thinner.
2. Don't ever wear clothes with horizontal and big stripes.
3. Wear clothes with vertical stripes.
4. Don't ever wear clothes with big flower patterns.
5. Don't wear clothes too tight or loose.
