I own a shop, and work on all kinds of vehicles. Luxury cars are a big waste of money for someone to stroke their ego. People ride around in a luxury car and its like "look at me", and they don't realize people are saying "how stupid, and a waste of money". People are going hungry, and we all need to help them. Why purchase a luxury vehicle when a normal vehicle does the same thing? The old saying; a fool and his money quickly part, certainly rings true. People who really have money don't ride around bragging about it. People with esteem problems buy things to attract attention they never got as a child. Help hungry people, and forget about wasting money on some ego trip.

Luxury cars are exactly that, luxury cars. They are not cars to compete others with, they are not sports cars, let alone family cars, they are luxury, men and women with top money who desire a car to wooosh, that is, cruise the streets of the cities of the world with little noise, provided by their huge engines, soft, suave ride, effortless climbing into high speeds but not fast, slowly, as people who like oysters savor them, I personally do not like oysters but I do like luxury cars. Inside of them, one realizes why everyone would love to live the lives of the wealthy. Of course they have problems too, they also live and die of cancer, they have alcoholics in their ranks, as well as drug addicts but, as John Q said in the movie (played by Denzel Washington): "Son, whatever area you are in, make a lot of money, because everything is easier with money." I have never met a sympathizer of Communism or Socialist who despised what money can generate. Like one of them said to me years ago: "Raúl, I love hot water and other comforts, I just want them for everyone."

I do not like very luxurious cars like Mercedes or Lexus. they have too many buttons and are too complex and hard to use.
Acura's and Audi's are my favorites because they look good, easy to drive, and they are fast and sporty.
BMW's are ok, but the position of the driver and the buttons is all wrong.
Cadillac is american so it will break down fast.

I would not want most of these cars (including the Cadillac) An XLR maybe!?

luxury car are for people who like comfort and style.as for there gas mileage is not up to par.if they put comfort,style and performance with better then it would be something to look at.
