Because people don't want to be bothered to put in the hard work it takes to keep a marriage going.

Some marriages happen way too young. They say they are in love with each other and want to spend the rest of their lives together. But after they are married and a couple of months or years go by, they hate each other. They both must fell the same way physically, mentally, and emotionally to take the next step into courtship.

People accept it and the states dont do enough to make it harder!! I am going thru it very soon and when I asked what the grounds could be she told me he could wake up on day and not like the color of my eyes!! We are military also and that plays into it! I support our troops and not saying other wives dont do the same but the military will stand by the fact that cheating is a serious issues but they dont do enough to stop it!! You could have all the proof that any normal person would see but it isnt enough unless you have a picture of them in the act!! Isn't it Sad? I think so and I think people need to wake up and things need changed!!

the reason for divorce is misunderstanding and ego problem between the couples. now-a-days all are working and they like to do the thing whatever they want. in this situation if there any obstacles come across their way, immediately they decided to part.so it is in the couples hand. whatever may be the problem, if the couples spares the time to speak francly to each other about their problem and tends to find a solution for the problem, then divorces will decreases.
nobody in this world is unbearable or cruel persons, it depends upon our mind and thought.
to avoid this situation love is only way. if the couples love them each other deeply without expecting anything from them, then they won't get separated.

Yes. People rush into it. Some people dont really know what its like to struggle for anyone other than themselves and give up to easily. Some people begin the relationship with full intentions of being with one person forever and because of temptation, they cheat. I dont think people realize that NOTHING worth having is ever easy. Because divorce has become so commercial and idealized, older couples who claim lost their happiness LONG ago, are now filing for divorce and trying out their independence. I think marital laws should be like military laws. If you cheat, you go to jail. If you dont support your spouse, your check is sent directly to them. Marriage is so easy to get in and out of now, that its really been hard to keep relationships to gether... Think about it. Its 300 dollars to divorce. Its 300 dollars or more per SESSION for councelling if your Insurance doesnt cover it... so really our whole nation almost pushes you into giving up when things get hard. Its enough to make someone want to give up marriage forever.

Marraige today is looked at much differently than it was years ago. Years ago you worked it out, now its easier to just move on. Divorce was almost unheard of 30 yeras ago, but our laws and society have changed it and made it easy and cheap, why fight it?
