How would make war cease to exist? You can't regulate or control human nature. War should not exist, but it does. Perhaps something as brutal as war serves a useful purpose.

If one country is in a war to grab up someone else's land, then war should not exist. If another nation is attempting to take your land or cause great damage and loss of life, then you better be prepaired to fight. In this case war is necessary to survival.

First of all why are you debating this subject in a English class.
Plus I have the solution to your debate how to eliminate wars if one group is aggressive to the other group all you have to do is refuse to fight. The only drawback to that you will be swapping war for slavery.

You don't have a choice, neither does humanity. It's here to stay, war exists and it probably always will. If you can live, you can die, and if you want to live, you don't want to die. If you can enjoy life, then you can suffer in life, and if you want to enjoy living, you will do anything to prevent your own suffering.
