It is Friday 26th - Mon 29th. Its always the last full weekend in September. That is for Glasgow it varies from town to town just like the fayre. The Glasgow fayre this year starts on Fri 21st July

There is no such thing as a "september weekend" in Scotland, because each Local Authority sets their own. For example, in Glasgow, there is a local holiday on the last Monday of the month; but in Ayr, the local holiday is on the third Monday of the month. To answer the question, you need to state WHERE in scotland you mean.
