I had a guitar stolen and I had to buy it back through the black market.
I have this guitar that belonged to a family friend for a long time. I bought it, and planned on keeping it for a long time. About ten years ago, I was playing in a band, and we had all our equipment at a friends house. One day when he was gone, his little sister had a party with all these wanna-be gang banger thugs. They took my guitar, and some other things.
The police didn't do a damn thing about it. I know it's not the most important crime of the year, but it was important to me.
Well, about a month after it happened, it looked like I was never going to see my guitar again. I was telling the story to an old high school buddy of mine. He asked me where it happened. I told him it was in the North End (In my town, the North End is the ghetto). He made a phone call, and ten minutes later, called me back. He said he knows someone who knows the people who have it.
Basically, these punk kids sold it to a crack dealer for $100. I could get it back, but I would have to pay the $100. I couldn't call the cops, as my friend went out on a limb to find this thing, and I didn't want him to get in trouble with this crack dealer.
Anyways, I paid the $100, and the next day I got my guitar. Small price to pay and now I have a hell of a story to tell about my guitar.

About 5 yrs ago my cds slowly came up missing, one at a time, and I just found out about a year ago, my brother was the culprit! My own blood! He was stealing them to support his drug habit.
Also, cigarettes and tools(that I was borrowing from my mom) out of my car, the first night I spent at my new apartment.
My first house was broken into, and half of my clothes and my priceless John Lennon and Paul McCartney Yellow Submarine figurines were stolen. They were still in their packages! It still pi$$es me off when I think about it.

I used to own a Suzuki Samurai with the snap-on roof and somebody stole the roof! For the next week, until a new one could be made, I had to drive around with a tarp for a roof.

Oh, of course. Almost everyone has. God, sometimes when it's random, I wanna get revenge, but I don't know who it is, so I'm stuck with an anger that cannot be unleashed.
Especially when I had my PSP stolen.

Yes, it's like being personally violated. Can you imagine how a woman feels when she is raped? That is having something stolen from her physical body? I can't imagine. People, don't steal! Why can't we all just be honest?

Usually when I tell people they get angry at me. Hopefully you have some tear wrenchers on there that will make them feel lousy...
