I am 25 1/2 weeks and have gained a whopping 30 pounds. I am carrying twins but didn't gain any weight until 17 weeks or so. I'm also on bed rest, so exercise is virtually nonexistent. I have a good book that says singleton pregnancies should have gained 12lbs by 20 weeks and 20lbs by 28 weeks.

Lets see...by 20 weeks I had gained around 15lbs or so maybe a little more. Don't worry about your lack of weight gain...some people just don't gain much. A friend of mine only gained 4lbs her whole pregnancy. The doctors kept telling her to eat and gain weight so she chowed down everything in sight. By the end her baby was born at nearly 10lbs but she had only gained 4.

sure, it particularly is reasonable. you may desire to think of approximately how lots you could lose a week. a million-2 pounds a week is reasonable and healthful, so; 4(weeks) x 5(months) = 20(weeks) 20(weeks) x a million.5(pounds) = 30(pounds) which potential, in case you lost a million.5 pounds a week from now till April you may doubtlessly lose 30 pounds. solid luck! :)

i am currently 28 weeks and have already gained 30lbs. but for my other pregnancies i would lose before i would gain and normally i wont start gaining until after 20 weeks. as long as the baby is healthy there is no reason to worry. just make sure you eat right.
