I am currently 31 weeks along. I have intense pain in my pelvis area and down my inner thighs. I know this is from my baby being so low. I saw the doctor last Wednesday and she checked me and said I was not dilated or effaced but that my baby was VERY low. The achiness and pain has gotten MUCH worse and walking has become almost impossible. I see my doctor again in the morning but just wanted to know what anyone thought? Any advise would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks

I do have a history of preterm labor and that is one of the many reasons for seeing my doctor weekly already. Also... I have contractions about 4-6 an hour and they are PAINFUL! Thanks

I would try and take it easy....Do what ever you can to get some rest. I can understand that with three other children that can be a challenge. But try and get as much down time as you can...Try and take some warm baths to help your self relax. And wait for that baby....Good luck and best wishes.

During pregnancy our bodies release hormones that help relax and soften the joints and muscles. This happens to help prepare your body for labor and delivery. The pain is caused by the extra weight pressing on these softened joints. Try sitting as much as possible, and even use a wheelchair if you can. When I was pregnant I carried really low during the last 10 weeks, and I cried because the pain was so bad. I feel bad for you, because I know what it's like.
Good lucky, I hope the time flies for you.

I am 33 weeks and I'm having the exact same problem when I talked to my doctor she told be that the uterus is attached to a muscle in the thigh area and that since I am carrying so low that I feel it more as my baby grows. She suggested to rest on my left side for 30 minutes every few hours, but there is nothing to worry about

I have been experiencing similar pain at 27 weeks. I have signed up for a pregnancy yoga class that shows me how to gently stretch the affected areas, and it does help some. Good luck.

i am going through the same thing right now. i am 28 weeks along and my dr took me off work and put me on modified bedrest just to be safe. i do have history of contractions with this pregnancy and she is not taking any chances because she could already feel the baby's head when she was examining me. so my advise to you is to sit back and relax try to stay off your feet as much as possible.

You may perhaps have Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction. It is caused when the joint 'relax' when getting ready for childbirth. It can occur early but most often towards the end of pregnancy. It usually gets better straight after birth but can cause longer term problems. Can be helped during pregnancy with physiotheraphy, accupuncture and painkillers. Avoid walking, stairs and any movements that your legs are seperated. Check out http://se.babycenter.com/pregnancy/antenatalhealth/physicalhealth/pelvicpain/

Does it think like in many instances while you get up or some thing, like the whole lot within of you simply abruptly simply drops down? Cause I think that means in many instances, I requested my health care provider approximately it and he or she mentioned that its simply strain....Its humorous how we're experiencing the identical factor! So I wager we're k! Although, I could love to have my youngster faster than forty weeks! 36 could be pleasant... hehe
